Motorcycle VS. Van
07/11/2009 -
Company 20 units were alerted at 1045 hours for a vehicle accident
involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Whitehall Road and
Prince Street. 20A arrived on scene and advised they had 2
patients, with one in the roadway. Rescue 20 and E-201 arrived and
assisted the ambulances with patient packaging. Patients were
then transported by ground to area hospitals. All units cleared
at 1107.
Deck Fire
07/11/2009 -
At 1135 hours, units were dispatched to 25 Johnamac Drive North for a
deck fire, reported out. Units arrived to find the siding on the
rear of the townhouse melted away. Crews from E-201 checked for
extension and hot spots using a Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC). No extension was found and
units cleared the scene at 1203. The fire started after a
cigarette was left in a plastic container on the deck.
Mutual Aid in Manchester, MD
07/10/2009 -
ET-20 was dispatched at 1132 hours for mutual aid to Carroll
County Maryland on a 2nd alarm barn fire in Manchester.
Personnel arrived and assisted with fire operations as ET-20
hauled multiple loads of water to the scene. ET-20 was
placed in service at 1450.
